Create a New PM Schedule
PM stands for Preventive Maintenance. PM work orders are done at a scheduled time and in regular intervals. PM schedules are templates used to create PM work orders. They are not the PM work orders themselves. They contain information that is passed to the PM work order when it is generated.
Due to the differences between standard forms, we have included detailed descriptions of the fields on each tab of the PM Schedule Master (TMS Enterprise) form in the Standard Form Reference sections. Consult that section for more detail on an individual form's fields.
To create a new PM schedule, follow these steps:
-
From the Schedules menu, select PM > New.
-
If you want to use a different form, select a form from the Form drop-down menu.
-
Fill in values for the following required fields (marked with a red asterisk (*), where the value is not already populated by module defaults:
-
Description
-
Schedule
-
Type
-
Asset Number
-
Segment
-
Account
-
Priority
-
Status
-
Sub Status
-

The fields that display are dependent upon the form being used. Some of the fields listed above might be hidden by default
-
-
Fill in any additional information in the remaining fields on any of the available tabs, as needed.
-
Click Save,
The PM schedule saves and the PM Edit page appears.
