Create a New PE Schedule

The following procedure defines the general steps for creating a PE schedule. Due to the differences between the standard forms, we have included detailed descriptions of the fields on each tab of each form in the PE New and PE Edit sections under each form's chapter. Consult those sections for more detail on an individual form's fields.

Shortly after the deploy of 5.22, the team confirmed that the default values on the new PE Schedule forms for the Unique WO flag are CHECKED by default when you create new PE schedules, as they should be. As in prior versions, in 5.23 PE's did NOT merge with themselves.

To create a new PE schedule, follow these steps:

  1. From the Schedules menu, select PE > New.

  2. If you want to use a different form other than the one selected in the Form drop-down menu, select a different form.

  3. Fill in the values for the following required fields which are marked with a red asterisk (*), where the value is not already populated by module defaults:

    • Description

    • Type

    • Segment

    • Account

    • Priority

    • Status

    • Sub Status

    • Skill

    • Next Due Date

    • Frequency

    The fields that display are dependent upon the form being used. Some of the fields listed above might be hidden.

  4. Fill in any additional information in the remaining fields, as needed, on any of the available tabs.

  5. Click Save.
