Set Up PartsSource in TMS

The PartsSource Setup screen consists of several groupings of fields. This is where you configure the PartsSource integration for the System segment or for individual segments. You can also select a pair of Status and Sub Status codes with which TMS will modify work orders tied to an ePartsfinder™ Parts Request. You will associate specific TMS users with a PartsSource username and password.

Before You Begin

Before you begin to configure the PartsSource integration, you need to know, or verify, the following information:

  • PartsSource Account - Verify that you have an account with PartsSource. If you don't, then you need to contact PartsSource directly. Most of our customers who are interested in purchasing the PartsSource integration already have an account with PartsSource.

  • License Key - Verify that you have a license key that includes a valid license for PartsSource. In the main menu of the TMS application, go to Setup > General > License Manager. You should see "PartsSource Integrations" in the Add On Licenses grid. If you don't see a license for the PartsSource integration, contact your TMS sales representative.
