How to Upload an Adobe PDF

To upload an PDF to TMS using Document Upload, follow these steps .  For this example, the sample PDF is called Carrier Wiring Diagram.pdf, it contains wiring diagrams for a Carrier brand air conditioner that is already set up as an asset in TMS as AC-05.  Carrier Wiring Diagram.pdf is saved on the Desktop.

1. Click Assets and then Asset Edit

2. Enter AC-05 and click OK

3. This opens the Asset Edit screen for the selected asset

4. Click Document Upload

5. The Document List opens

6. Click New Document since this is a new document and not a Web link

7. In the New Document pop-up window, in Description type Carrier Wiring Diagram

8. In the Status field select Active

9. Next to the File field click Browse

10.  Choose File opens

11. Click Desktop because Carrier Wiring Diagram.pdf is saved on the Desktop

12. Click Carrier Wiring Diagram.pdf and click Open

13. Click OK

14.  Carrier Wiring Diagram.pdf is added to the Document Manager.

15. Close out of the Document Manager

16. Click Save
