The Logs Tab

The Logs tab allows you to remotely view all of the TMS system logs in one location. You can also export a log as a Microsoft Excel file and save it locally.

Some examples of the TMS system logs you can view are:

  • Asset Delete Log

  • Email Reporting Log

  • PM Generation Log

  • WO Status Change Log

The Procedure Merge and Vendor Merge logs are part of the Code Merge log.

To view a system log, follow these steps.

  1. Tools > Diagnostic Center.

  2. Select the Logs tab.

  3. In the Log Type drop-down menu, select the log you want to view. Records that are part of log are listed by date.

  4. To shrink the log file size, you can enter a days value in the Days to Retain Log Entries field and select Update.

  5. To export the log to Excel, select the To Excel button.

If you are asked to confirm you want to open the Excel file, select Open.
