Report Definition Query

Once you have added new report definitions to your TMS database, you will be able to search for and view them. To perform a report definition query, follow these steps.

  1. Open the Report Definition Query screen by selecting Reports > Query from the menu bar, or clicking the Query button in the tool bar on any Report Definitions module screen.

  2. The Main tab opens (provided you are using the Report Definition standard form; otherwise, the tab or tabs presented to you might be different). Enter your search criteria in any of the available fields.

  3. Click the Execute button.

  4. If there is more than one record returned, they will be displayed on the Report Definition Query Results screen, where you can double-click the data source record you want to view. If only one record is returned, it will automatically be opened for you in Report Definition Edit.
