Add a Field Group and Single Fields

You can add field groups or single fields to a form.

For this lesson, the Form Designer page should be open, displaying your Corrective Maintenance Work Order custom form in Edit mode.

Add a Group of Fields

Since your organization want to know who requested each work order, you can add the Requester field group to it. To add a field group, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Main tab.

  2. In the Groups and Fields area, drag and drop Requester into the right zone.

    The fields in the Requester group Requester, Phone Number, Pager, Email, and Requester Remarks, are added.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Click OK.

Add a Single Field

You can also add a single field to. In this example, your organization may want know if there's a problem with an asset, you will add two individual Asset fields to your form. 

  1. Select the Main tab.

  2. In the Groups and Fields area, expand Asset.

  3. Drag and drop the Asset Number field into the left zone, below the Required field group.

  4. Drag and drop the Asset Description field into the left zone, below the Asset Number field.:

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click OK.
