The Logging Options Tab

The Logging Options tab allows you to configure general TMS Control Panel logging options. These options are database specific and you can set them differently for each database.

The Database drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the TMS Control Panel contains all of the databases that you added on the Databases tab. You can configure the logging options for every database .

1. On the TMS Control Panel, click the Logging Optionstab.

   The Logging options appear.

   You can view the log files for TMS and its features, such as the Asset Mass Edit log, Email Report log, and Survey log. You can also set the number of days you want to retain the log files for.

2. To view a log, select a value from the Log you would like to view drop-down menu.

3. To save a log, click the Save Log button.

4. To specify how long the log should be retained, enter a value (from 0 to 360) in the Days to Retain Log Entries field.

5. To save the settings for a log file, click the Save button.

6. To save the settings for the log file and truncate the log in the viewer, click the Save & Truncate button.
