Asset Mass Edit Business Rules

All asset business rules and related business rules remain in effect.

A single dash (-) in any field clears the content on that field for all records.  Single dashes can't be placed in required fields (TMS displays a message and removes the dash).

Neither Asset Number nor Segment can be updated using Asset Mass Edit.

If a Site or Building is selected for the mass update, then a Site, Building, and Location must be selected.

If a Category is selected, then a Sub Category must also be selected.

If the Enable Asset Risk Manager module option is selected, risks can't be updated using Asset Mass Edit.
