Edit or Delete a Custom Alert

You can edit or delete a custom alert created by your organization. You cannot edit or delete the standard TMS alerts.

Edit an Alert

To edit an alert, follow these steps:

  1. From the Setup menu, select General > Alerts.

  2. In the Alerts area, click the Edit icon preceding the alert you want to edit.

    The Alerts Setup window opens.

    If the alert you opened is a standard alert and not a custom alert, you will see a message at the bottom of the window stating that the alert cannot be modified.

  3. Modify any of the following fields:

    • Event Type

    • Title

    • Description

    • Sql

    • ConditionOperator

    • ConditionValue

    • Message

  4. Click Save.

Delete an Alert

To delete an alert, follow these steps:

  1. From the Setup menu, select General > Alerts.

  2. In the Alerts area, click the Delete button (the red color: #ff0000;) preceding the alert you want to edit.

    A dialog box opens asking you to confirm your choice.

    If the alert you are trying to delete is a standard alert and not a custom alert, you will not be allowed to complete the alert deletion.

  3. Click Yes.
