About TMS Alerts
TMS alerts give you a way to receive a custom messages when an action or triggering event occurs in TMS. For example, you can get an alert notifying users about the number of escalated work orders that are in the system. Or, you can get an alert when you save a work order with an asset that asset is currently under warranty.
TMS supplies a portfolio of standard alerts for you to use right out of the box. You can also create your own.
Important!
If your organization recently upgraded from TMS Enterprise or TMS WorkGroup to TMS OnLine/OnSite, due to differences in the database structures that affect the Work Orders and Assets modules, we recommend that you verify that your existing standard alerts still work properly.
