Upload an Existing Photo to a Work Order

With the upload feature in Sidekick, you can upload a photo to a work order record, either by taking a picture and uploading it, or by uploading an existing file from you iOS device. To upload a photo that already exists on your device, follow these steps.

In this topic, we assume you are already in Work Order Edit.

  1. Select the Attached Documents tab.

  2. Select the From Camera Roll button.

  3. Existing photos that exist on-device are displayed. Select one or multiple photos. A check mark will appear when a photo has been selected.

  4. Once you have made your selection, select Done.

  5. The selected photos are placed in the Images Chosen section. Select Done to attach the photos to the work order.

To attach the picture to the work order record as a Document Upload entry on the main TMS application, perform a sync between the device database and the main TMS database.

Note:

If you receive an error message that you are denied access while uploading a photo to a work order, on the device go to Settings > Privacy > Photos and turn on the permission for TMS Sidekick.
