How to Delete Your Data from the Device

If you want to delete the data stored on the iOS device that is associated with your login, you can do so from the Login screen. Reasons why you might want to do this include:

  • You just upgraded to a new version of TMS Sidekick.

  • Adjustments were made to your mobile profile, and you want to clear out the old data, to conserve on memory usage.

To delete your data, follow these steps.

  1. Open TMS Sidekick.

  2. On the Login screen, enter your TMS User Name.

  3. Next, enter your password.

  4. Change Replace Data Store to ON.

  5. Click Login.

After you click Login, TMS Sidekick will perform a sync with the TMS database server and download a new data set to the device, based on your mobile profile. When the synchronization process is completed, the TMS Sidekick Home screen opens.

When you choose to delete your data store during login, only the stored data that is associated with your login information is deleted. If you need to delete the stored data associated with another login, you need to log out again and repeat the steps above with the login information for the profile whose data store also needs deleted.
