Modify Your User Profile

When you select the Profile button from the TMS Sidekick Home screen, you are taken to the Profile screen. The Profile screen allows you to adjust the settings specific to your login. Below, we will describe the fields available to you on the screen.

Remember to click Save before you exit this screen anytime you make a change to your profile.

Defaults

The Segment field shows which database segment that the device data is being pulled from. Select the Segment field to select a different segment.

Forms

The three fields shown the default forms that are being used to display work order, asset, and material records. Select one of form fields to select a different form for that module.

Data

The three fields in the Data section show which saved queries (if any) will be used to pull records from the Work Orders, Assets, and Materials modules from the TMS database down to the device database, when a synchronization is executed.

Select one of the data fields to select a saved query to use. You can also select a field and then select the "blank" row in the list of saved queries to remove a previous saved query selection.

Data Options

This area shows additional options for pulling data from the TMS database. Here's what each of these options mean when turned to ON:

Option Description
All WOs for Resource Only allows work orders assigned to the resource tied to your login to be pulled from the TMS database.
Completed Work Orders Allows you to enter a value in the Within how many days? field to specify how far back to go in the TMS database when pulling down "completed" records.
All Asts for Resource Only allows assets that are assigned to you to be pulled from the TMS database.

Select the option's ON/OFF slide to turn on or off one of the options.

Query Results

The Query Results section allows you to dictate what fields will show on a module's query results screen. By default, these are the fields displayed on the query results screens (in order of field number) in each of the modules:

To change the fields for a module's query results, follow these steps:

  1. Select one of the module fields ([WO, Asset, Material, or Schedule] Query Results).

  2. Select one of the five fields in the sample at the top of the screen.

  3. Select a field from the list of available fields.

  4. Repeat as many times as necessary to add all fields you want to see in the module's query results.

  5. Select the Profile button to return to the Profile screen when you're done.

If you choose not to select a new field for all of the available fields in the steps above, the next time you run a query in that module, you will only see the fields you did select.
