Set Notifications for New Work Orders

In TMS Sidekick you can receive notifications when new work orders are made available.

If alerts for TMS Sidekick are enabled, notifications for new work orders appear if you are logged into TMS Sidekick and also if you are not logged in. If the device is off, you will receive a message on the locked home screen alerting you that new work orders are available. If you are on the home screen of the device or working with a different application, notifications for new work orders will appear either in the banner or in a pop up, depending on the alert style you have set for notifications on your device.

The notification displays a message that new work orders are available and the number of new work orders available. You can choose to either sync the device to get the new work orders or you can dismiss the alert. If you dismiss the alert, the synch will not perform.

In order to receive notifications for new work orders, you might need to enable them on your device.

1. On your device, go to Settings > Notification Center.

2. Select TMS Sidekick.

3. Under Alert Style, select the style you want to use for alerts or None if you do not want alerts to appear.
