Add Hidden Fields to the Confirmation Page
By default, any fields that are visible to the user when they are creating a work order through Web Request are also displayed on the confirmation page that appears after the user saves the new work order.
However, there might be fields that were hidden from the user during work order creation which you want to display on the confirmation page. You can do so by enabling the Display On Confirmation Page option in the Web Request page's Properties Editor. Follow these steps.
-
Either create a new Web Request page and save it, so you are taken to the Web Request Edit screen, or search for the Web Request page you want to edit by going to Modules > Web Request > Query and then select the page from the list of query results.
-
In Web Request Edit, select either the Work Order Settings tab or the Asset Settings tab (depending on the field you want to hide in create mode, but display on the confirmation page).
For this example, will select Work Order Settings.
-
Select the Field Designer tab.
-
Turn the Update All Modes feature to On, if it currently shows as Off.
-
Right-click the field you want to hide in create mode, but display on the confirmation page.
For this example, right-click the Priority field.
-
Select More Properties. In the Properties Editor, you will notice that there is a Display On Confirmation Page option displayed below the Hide Field From User option.
-
First, enter or select a value for the field in the Default Value field. (This is required in order to hide a field from the user.)
-
Check the Hide Field From User option.
-
Select the Display On Confirmation Page option.
-
Click Apply.
-
Click Save in Web Request Edit.
