Introduction to the Survey Module
TMS customers receive and complete hundreds of service requests per month from staff within their respective organizations. We designed the Survey module so our customers could assess the level of satisfaction of the work performed by their staff. The Survey module is an add-on module. It's not included as part of the core TMS application.
You can only use surveys within the segment that they are created. You need to generate reports and export the data to MS Excel to analyze the data.
Use the Status Change log to view when TMS should send surveys, when TMS sends surveys, and when users return surveys.
Survey Scenarios
There are probably two ways you will use the Survey module.
Scenario 1 (most likely scenario)
- TMS user (probably facilities or biomed staff) completes a work order with a Status of COMPLETED and a Sub Status of SURVEY PENDING.
- TMS automatically sends a survey invitation to the work requester via email based upon on a recent service request work order and updates the work order Sub Status to SURVEY SENT.
- The requester clicks on the Survey link in the invitation and views the survey questions. Requester answers the questions and clicks Submit. The Survey module writes the responses to the TMS database and updates the work order Sub-status to SURVEY COMPLETED.
- You, the TMS administrator, review responses using reports.
Scenario 2 (create new survey scenario)
- You, the TMS administrator, use the Survey Create menu option to create and save a new survey template in the TMS database.
- You enter the default font, header, and footer using the Advanced properties page. You create the survey invitation.
- You add a question and an appropriate answer type and repeat these steps for each question.
-
You save the completed survey template.
