Pager Business Rules

  • Email Address is the only required field to send a page.
  • If the user chooses to include field names, the custom labels are used in the page.
  • The format of the page uses colons after a field name and a semi-colon to separate field data. For example, WO Number: 11111; Description: Air Conditioner.
  • If a resource is chosen then the email address fills in from the Pager Email field on the Resource module.
  • Resource is not a required field to send an email.
  • Pager is only available from the Work Order module.

  • Field setup can only be done once per segment.

  • If a resource is chosen then the email address fills in from the Pager Email field on the Resource module.
  • TMS Control Panel is used to send the pages.
  • If pager security is set to Read-Only, the Save button is disabled.
