Create a New Asset

If you see an error message stating “Asset does not exist in the TMS database”, you will need to create a new asset record within TMS application. 

To create a new asset, follow these steps:

1. Select an unprocessed record from the MUP grid.

2. Click the Create medTester Asset button.

   This opens the Asset New screen in TMS.

3. Enter in the required values for the asset.

4. Enter any optional information that you want.

5. Click Save.

   TMS asks if you want to create a PM schedule for the asset.

   • If you click Yes, then you are presented with the PM Schedule New screen.

   • If you click No, then you are presented with the Asset Edit screen.
