MUP Data Processing Scenarios
Once the MUP table is processed, and the data is send to TMS, the following processing scenarios are executed, based on the data in the MUP table.
SCENARIO 1 - If an active Work Order exists that meets these criteria:
- Work Order Type is Preventive Maintenance (PM) or Unscheduled PM (UP)
- Asset on the MUP record that is being processed is attached to the Work Order
- The Work Order has a Checklist Procedure assigned or the Work Order has a Sub Status of FAILPM

The Work Order Status is ACTIVE
- The Work Order is in the same segment as the MUP record being processed
If the Fluke Interface finds more than one Work Order that meets the above criteria it will process the Work Order that was created first.
And the test result is PASS, the Work Order is updated like this

The Work Order Description remains unchanged

The Work Order Status is Completed

The Work Order Sub Status is (Changes are Allowed)
- A time charge is added to the work order using the Operator Initials and time entered on the Fluke Interface by the operator. Operator comments are added to the work order time charge.
- Last Generated Date, Last Completed Date, and Next Due Date are updated on the PM template used to generate the Work Order according to the system options and PM template options at the time.
If the test result is FAIL, the Work Order is updated like this:
- The Work Order Description changes to Failed PM Inspection

The Work Order Status is set to Failed PM Status as configured by the user.

The Work Order Sub Status is set to Failed PM Sub Status as configured by the user.
- A time charge is added to the Work Order using the Operator Initials and time entered on the Fluke Interface by the operator. Operator comments are added to the work order time charge.
SCENARIO 2 – If no active Work Order exists as described in Scenario 1

The option to generate PM’s must be selected
- A Checklist PM exists for the Asset currently being processed
- The Checklist PM for the Asset has a Checklist Procedure attached
- The Checklist Procedure on the Checklist PM has at least one CheckItem attached to it

Generate a Work Order from the Checklist PM
If the test result is PASS, the Work Order is updated like this

The Work Order Status is Completed

The Work Order Sub Status is Changes are Allowed
- A time charge is added to the work order using the Operator Initials and time entered on the Fluke Interface by the operator. Operator comments are added to the work order time charge.

SCENARIO 3 – If Scenario 1 and Scenario 2 do not meet the criteria
A Work Order is created with the following criteria:
- The Work Order Type is set to the one selected in the Setup part of the Sync Utility.

The Work Order Account is set to the Asset’s Account.

The Work Order Status is ACTIVE.
- A time charge is added to the work order using the Operator Initials and time entered on the Fluke Interface by the operator. Operator comments are added to the work order time charge.
If the test result is PASS, the Work Order is updated like this
- The Work Order Description is Unscheduled Work Order

The Work Order Status is Completed

The Work Order Sub Status is (Changes are allowed)
If the test result is FAIL, the Work Order is updated like this
