Notes About Ansur MTR Files
There are a few things you should note about MTR files created by the Ansur software:
-
MTR files created by Ansur Executive must contain the Op Code field. The device operator will use this field to enter their Resource ID
-
The Ansur Interface uses the Op Hours field to track time spent executing the test
-
The MTR file will also track entries in the Comments field for each completed test
-
There is a 50 character limit is imposed upon the Comments field display by tblDNITestInformation.
However, because the MTR file is uploaded to the TMS database, the comments can be viewed in their entirety within the core TMS application.
-
If an Ansur test has an alternate output file (ex. a PDF file), the alternate output file must have the same name as the MTR file for the same test. For example: if the MTR file is named "Test1.mtr", then the corresponding PDF file should be "Test1.pdf".
