ECRI Code Setup

Setting up the ECRI Alerts module involves configuring the URL and criteria TMS uses to retrieve and store new Sourcebase codes. Complete the ECRI Codes Setup, ECRI Alert Setup, and select the ECRI hierarchy validation to ensure full functionality.

1. Go to Setup > Partners > ECRI > Codes Setup.

2. In ECRI Services URL, enter: https://services.ecri.org/SourcebaseCMMS/SourcebaseCMMS.asmx.

3. In the Segment dropdown, select the highest-level common segment. While you can choose any segment, selecting the highest-level common segment is recommended to make ECRI functionality available for all users in the TMS system. Remember, ECRI Codes can only be set up in the System segment or a user segment (like Facilities), not both. Once set up in the System segment, you cannot modify it.

4. In User Name, type the username provided by ECRI Institute. This differs from your TMS username.

5. In Password, type the password provided by ECRI Institute. This differs from your TMS password.

6. In Resources, select resources to add their email addresses to the textbox below. TMS sends an email to the selected resource's email address when new codes are received from ECRI Institute. Alternatively, you can type email addresses directly into the text box, separating each with a semicolon (;). Note that the Resources field is optional.

7. Click Save.
