ECRI Alerts Setup
Now that you have set up the Sourcebase codes part of the ECRI Alerts module, you need to complete the second step in setting up the module: setting up the URL and other criteria TMS will use to retrieve new ECRI Institute Alerts.
To set up ECRI alerts, follow these steps:
-
Select Setup > Partners> ECRI > Alerts Setup.
-
In the ECRI Alert Services URL field, type: https://services.ecri.org/AlertsTrackerCMMS/AlertsTrackerCMMS.asmx
-
In the Segment dropdown, select the appropriate user segment (that is, not the System segment). Examples of user segments might be Facilities, Biomed, and Environmental Services. We recommend setting the alerts up in this way because different ECRI Institute users can be set up in different user segments. Alerts that come from ECRI Institute can be set up based upon the user. You might want to have alerts for operating room equipment received by one user. Another user might receive alerts for ICU equipment. Each segment set up to retrieve ECRI Alerts must have access to the ECRI Alerts module.
-
In the User Name and Password, enter the user name provided to you by ECRI Institute. This is not the same as your TMS user name and password.
-
In Organization ID, type in the organization ID provided to you by ECRI Institute.
Note: You must have the Organization ID from ECRI Institute for the ECRI Alerts module to work. If you do not have this information, contact the ECRI Institute Helpdesk at 610-825-6000, extension 5555.
-
In Resources, select resources to add their email addresses to the textbox below. TMS will send an email to the email address of the selected resource when new alerts are received from ECRI Institute. You can also type email addresses directly into the text box. Regardless, you must separate each email address with a semicolon (;). Please note that the Resources field is not required.
-
Click Save. A pop-up window opens indicating that: Partner configuration has been set for the shared segment. ECRI Institute Alerts can only be configured in the shared segment or the user segments, but not both.
-
Click OK.
