Scan and Go

On the TMS Today screen, the Asset Number field allows you to enter an asset's number and go to a list of work orders associated with the asset.

The work orders that are shown are based on a particular work order Status code.  The default Status code for Scan and Go to use is ACTIV. So, if the default code is in use, Scan and Go shows you Active work orders tied to the asset you entered.

To use Scan and Go, follow these steps:

  1. On the TMS Today screen, scan or manually enter an Asset Number

  2. Click Go

  3. If there is more than one work order associated with the status and you are presented with a list, select a work order to open in Edit mode
