Set the Time Out Interval

In the Web.config file that is part of the TMS Anywhere setup files, there is an entry in the XML which allows you to set the amount of time that the module can be idle before it times out, and the user is forced to log in again before they can continue in TMS Anywhere. Follow the steps below to locate the file and adjust the setting.

To set the time out interval, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the directory in which TMS Anywhere was installed. Typically, [...]\TMS Anywhere SE

  2. In the TMS Anywhere SE folder, you should see the Web.config file

  3. Right-click the file and select Open with... > Notepad

  4. Scroll to the bottom half of the file

  5. Near the end of the XML code, you should see <sessionState timeout="120" />

  6. The value shown is the time out interval in seconds and can be edited to any number of seconds you would prefer

  7. Save the file
