Accruent Siterra 23.6 Release Notes

If you run an import log and the command fails, the failure is now reported correctly.

We’re providing a Technical Preview of a new feature that administrators can use to create Extended Attributes (EA) with values dynamically calculated based on mathematical expressions and other criteria.

This feature is enabled in our 23.6 User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments for customer evaluation and feedback, driving its inclusion in a future Production release.

Forms

We fixed an issue that caused forms to display coordinate fields with duplicate values for the decimal listing. There were also cases where some assets had the DMS dropped from the tower form when editing the information on Managed Network type assets.

We fixed an issue that caused Boolean EAs to show the ability of setting a form-level default different from the overall default for the EA. Additionally, the system did not recognize the form default when one was set. We removed the ability to select a form-level default value.

Leases, Allocations

Lease module users who have allocations on leases can now click the Name of the allocation to directly navigate to the associated details pane for that name.

Leases, Contacts, Imports

Lease users now see a Number column in Contacts grids. They can use this column in the import functionality for legal parties to update a contact.

Online Help

Siterra now provides an extension of our Online Help: the Resource Center. You can access it from all pages via a new lighthouse icon in the upper-right corner between the Search field and the Log Off button.

We fixed an issue that prevented lease users from entering a date equal to the one of the last paid Accounting Period End when dealing with a lease closure.

Setting up a Calculated Tax Payment on a lease now automatically changes the default value for Calculate Off Gross Amount from Payable to Receivable when the associated header is for a receivable. You don’t need to remember to make this change.

We fixed an issue where the following system behavior was not working as expected: deleting an escalation of a payment triggers the creation of an incremental line to compensate for the deletion. In this scenario, the system was creating a payment line without the payee information from the payment header.

Lease module users now see more detailed warning messages when attempting to cancel a payment line with Export state set to Exported or Other, or when the Payment Header inherited a Paid status from having 100% of the payment lines generated set to the Paid status.

We fixed an issue where entering an escalation with the same start date as the lease start date was causing the first payment line to have an escalated line. This shouldn’t happen, as the amount was not being changed.

Administrators can now ask Accruent to enable a special Portfolio Configuration setting that prohibits users from cancelling a payment line if its Export State is Exported or Other.

That same Portfolio Configuration setting also prohibits users from cancelling a payment when its payment header has inherited the Paid status from having 100% of the payment lines generated set to the Paid status.

We fixed an issue where creating a schedule template with a base schedule template that has role sets resulted in an "Operation Failed" error.

Administrators now have the option to automatically recalculate Completion dates of ‘empty’ tasks (tasks with no subtasks) when such tasks have dependencies on predecessor tasks that are rejected.

With this new option, Siterra automatically removes the impacted task Completion date when a predecessor task is rejected. Siterra automatically resets this Completion date to that of the last completed predecessor task when all such predecessor tasks are re-completed.

The new option also applies this behavior if a new predecessor to the ‘empty’ task is created.

We fixed an issue where Project Management users with certain roles were seeing the following incorrect error message: "There was an error loading data for this project. Please log out and back in to refresh your session"

Responsibilities

We optimized the Set Responsibilities tool to improve its consistency and response time frames.

Administrators can now use a new action for Set Responsibilities permissions which is separate from the current Update action used for Edit Schedule.

Schedule Templates, Search

We fixed an issue in Manage Template Dependencies where the search grid of Schedule Templates was not working properly when the user entered a task number to filter the results.

Sites

We fixed an issue in News and Notes on the default home page, where notes created in Siterra were losing formatting, line breaks, and return carriages.

Tasks/Subtasks

We fixed an issue that occurred when a Schedule Template included a subtask of Object type associated with the Lease type and Create operation. In this scenario, instances of the template were not displaying any EAs specified for that lease.
