Document Type Icons

Document type icons indicate the file type of the document. The document type icon works in a similar manner as the menu stacks button. Click the document type icon to display a list of actions that can be taken on the document.

Specialized icons exist for the following file types:

  • PDF

  • Excel

  • Microsoft Word

  • PowerPoint

Photos display a photo icon, and miscellaneous files display a generic icon.
