RealDWG 2026: Meridian Server setup installs RealDWG 2026, which replaces the RealDWG 2025 version.
-
AutoCAD 2026 rendition engine: Use native AutoCAD 2026 as a rendition engine in Meridian Publisher for accurate document rendering.
Autodesk 2027 family support

Authentication
MRS-14705
Authenticate across Meridian desktop client interfaces using the industry-standard Okta identity provider. This update provides enhanced security and a seamless login experience across the ecosystem.
-
Okta identity provider support: Sign in using Okta authentication across the Site Cache client, Application Integration, and Application Add-Ins. Your organization can use Okta to manage access securely and consistently.
-
Application Integration: When you open a vault in Application Integration, you authenticate via Okta. On successful authentication, you can access the documents in your vault. If authentication fails, an error message appears.
-
Site Cache client: When you open the Site Cache client, you authenticate via Okta to manage your local workspace.
-
Application Add-Ins: When you open a vault through an Application Add-In, you authenticate via Okta. On successful authentication, the vault opens. If authentication fails, an error message appears.
AD group-based license restrictions for Meridian Subscription License Server
MRS-324
The Meridian Subscription License Server now supports license restrictions based on Active Directory (AD) group membership. This enhancement aligns with the features in the classic License Server. Control license allocation by department or role using AD groups configured in the registry.
Key features:
-
AD group-based restrictions: Restrict licenses to users within specified AD groups to control access to product codes.
-
Consistent behavior across license servers: Enforce restrictions identically to the classic License Server for unified license management.
-
Efficient license allocation: Manage license distribution effectively to ensure only authorized users claim licenses, which enhances security and compliance.
This update provides the same level of control and flexibility in license management for subscription licenses as is available for concurrent licenses.
Configure IFilter ClassIDs for Windows Server 2022
MRS-296
Add specific ClassIDs to the Meridian indexing service configuration to enable full-text indexing for Office documents and other formats. This update provides greater flexibility for indexing in your environment.
Due to technical restrictions in the Windows Search Indexer, you must patch the Meridian DLL with these ClassIDs to integrate with Windows Search. Please contact Accruent Support for assistance with this configuration.
Implement Entra ID authentication in Meridian
MRS-8398
Meridian Enterprise now supports Microsoft Entra ID authentication for publishing to Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint Online.
-
Entra ID authentication: This feature incorporates X.509 certificates as additional credentials alongside the existing Client ID and Client Secret to provide a secure authentication flow.
-
Certificate management: Upload X.509 certificates for SharePoint communication using the new Upload button.
-
Technical integration: Meridian Enterprise uses Microsoft SDKs and libraries to streamline development and ensure compatibility with SharePoint.
ODA Drawings SDK
Accruent Meridian upgraded from Teigha to the ODA Drawings SDK. This technical shift ensures the ODA technology generates your PDF renditions of AutoCAD and MicroStation drawings.
