Extension Mapping maps document file extensions to document types in Meridian. Each document type can have multiple extensions mapped to it, including one default file extension. For example:
The .dwg extension can be automatically mapped to a Drawing Type document and
The .docx extension can be automatically mapped to a Project Type document.
You can configure Extension Mapping together with other custom configuration settings.
