Deleting a collection deletes the document list or search criteria that define the collection's view. It does not delete the documents themselves. To delete the documents within a collection, see Delete and Undelete Documents and Folders.

Before deleting a dynamic collection, resolve any dependencies on the collection such as report definitions.

The My Search Results collection cannot be deleted. To replace its contents, save the results of a new search to the collection as described in Create And Edit a Collection.
