Share a Saved Search in Portal

Saving a search stores your search filters so that you can return to the same list of items at a later time. You can share a saved search with others so that they can easily find documents.

Important!

If you delete a saved search that you had previously shared and the user tries to use the link, the user will encounter a Page Not Found message.

To share a saved search:

  1. Open the project whose records you want to search as described in Open Projects.

  2. Choose between two options:

    • In the navigation bar, click the Documents icon Multiple pieces of paper stacked on each other..

      The Documents page appears and lists the documents in the current view of the project.

    • In the navigation bar, click the Packages icon An icon depicting a piece of paper next to a briefcase..

      The Packages page appears and lists all the packages in the current project to which you have access.

  3. Click the Saved Searches menu.

    This menu appears in the upper-right corner of the page, to the right of your search filters.

  4. Hover your cursor over the saved search you want to share.

    A trash can icon and an arrow icon appear to the right of the saved search's name.

  5. Click the share icon A blue box with a white arrow pointing upwards and to the right. for the saved search.

    A link is copied to your clipboard.

  6. Send the link to the person you want to share your saved search with.
