Work With Package Comments
In addition to making comments on individual documents in a package as described in Add Document Comments, you can make comments on the package as a whole including attaching supporting files. Examples of package comments are review instructions, reference information, and a review summary. You may also reply to the comments made by others, delete your comments, and download all of the package comments.
To add package comments:
-
Open the comments of the package as described in View Package Comments.
-
Type up to 500 characters in the empty field at the top of the page.
A counter below the field indicates how many characters you have entered. Your comment may not be edited after it has been submitted.
-
To attach files to your comments:
-
Click the attach button
in the button bar.
The Open dialog box appears.
-
Select one or more files that you want to attach and then click Open.
The file names appear below your comment and the files are uploaded to Meridian Portal where they are scanned for viruses. Infected files may not be attached.
To delete an attachment, click the remove button
next to the attachment file name. The attachment is deleted.
-
When you are finished, click Submit.
Your comment is added to the top of the list.
