Search and Create Parts in MC Kinetic

Quickly locate, review, and create parts in MC Kinetic.

Search parts

Search for parts in MC Kinetic to quickly find specific records that match your criteria and view their details.

1. Tap Menu in the upper-left corner of the screen.

2. Tap Parts > Search for Parts.

3. Enter one or more search criteria or scan the Part ID.

4. Tap Search.

5. To clear the current search, tap Reset.

You can also search and refresh the search results list:

• Search: Tap the search icon and enter a search term.

• Refresh: Tap the refresh icon to update the results.

Sort search results

Sort the search results in ascending or descending order.

1. In the search results, tap Sort.

2. Tap the arrows next to the Part ID or Part Name fields.

   • Up arrow for ascending order.

   • Down arrow for descending order.

3. Tap Save.

Create parts

If you don’t find a part in the search, you can create one in MC Kinetic.

1. Tap Menu in the upper-left corner of the screen.

2. Tap Parts > Search for Parts.

3. Tap Search.

4. Tap Menu and select Create Part.

5. Enter the part details.

6. Tap Submit.
