Documents and Attachments

The Complete/Close window may include a Documents section that allows you to add documents and attachments before closing the work order. To add an attachment, click the New button.

The window that opens is similar to the New Document window in the Attach tab and in other areas of the Maintenance Connection application, but this one does not include Edit or Upload tabs. Within this window you can drag and drop files from your computer or you can click the Add button to open your documents viewer.

Once the file uploads successfully, click the Close button. The new attachment displays in the Documents section of the Complete/Close window.

Upon accessing the Complete/Close window, the Documents section displays any files that have already been attached directly to that specific work order via the Attach tab. These files cannot be removed from the work order record via the Complete/Close dialog. The Remove button can only be used to remove attachments that you have already added from the Complete/Close dialog.

Because the Documents section only shows attachments directly attached to that specific work order, it does not show attachments added to the work order via asset associations, procedure associations, and so on.
