Accruent MC v2024.7 Release Notes
We're delivering this automatic upgrade on June 26, 2024, with the following highlights:
- Home Summary dashboard: Dive deeper into Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data with our updated click actions on the new Home Summary dashboard, allowing you to open an external link or a report when you click on the KPI card and giving you quick insights into the most critical data points you need to track.
- Improvements and issues fixed: Benefit from a dozen minor enhancements and fixed issues, ranging from improved security around custom scripts to more intuitive workflows.
Dive deeper into KPI data with a single click

We applied click-action options to the new Home Summary dashboard, allowing you to click on a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) card to open a corresponding report or, as a new feature, to open an external link to view more details about the data shown. The legacy option to run JavaScript upon a click now only appears for KPIs for which you previously applied that click action, preventing the creation of any new actions that might pose a security risk, while preserving existing configurations.

| Home Summary Dashboard |
We added the System Default click-action option for system/base dashboard cards, allowing a card to use the default click action, usually navigating you to the area of the application where you can take action on the data displayed on the card. The update also allows system developers to use JavaScript functionality on a KPI without exposing it to the end user. |
