System Security

System security is managed through the following modules and features:

  • Active Licensed Members tool: This tool allows you to view the licensed members with active sessions and to terminate sessions if needed. This feature is used by organizations that have a Concurrent License setup when users are being prevented from accessing the system because the maximum number of licensed users has been exceeded.

  • Password Management: This feature allows administrators to change passwords on behalf of users and view or update information about forgotten member passwords. Features are also available to define password parameters such as the required strength of passwords or whether users should be prompted to change their password at defined intervals.

  • Session Manager: The Session Manager is external to the main application and is available to manage sessions in both the MRO and MC Express.

Case-sensitivity is fully enforced on all member passwords.
