Part Stock Rooms

The Stock Room List lists the Stock Rooms where this part is located. Multiple records display if the part is maintained in multiple Stock Rooms, or if the part is maintained in multiple bins within a given Stock Room. Each record lists the Stock Room name, bin, available units, and issue units.

The Stock Room List only shows Stock Rooms from the current Repair Center. Tap the Repair Center button on the far right of the gray header bar to change the Repair Center filter.

ClosedAdd a Stock Room

  1. Open a part record.

  2. Tap the Stock Rooms option in the menu.

    The Stock Room List opens.

  3. Tap the Plus button on the gray header bar.

    The Add Stock Room page opens. The Repair Center and Stock Room fields may already be pre-populated.

  4. If necessary, select a different repair center or stock room from the Repair Center and Stock Room fields.

  5. Complete the following fields:

    • Bin

    • Lot

    • On Hand: enter the number of parts on hand in this stock room.

    • Last Counted: this field will default to today's date. If you need to change the date, use the Calendar tool.

    • Conversion to Issue Units: this field defaults to the value saved for the part. This field is used to calculate the number of parts that can be issued from a part or parts package that has been ordered. For example, if you ordered a 3-pack of an item that would be issued one at a time, the conversion to issue units would be 3.

    • Comments

    • Average Cost

    • Last Cost

    • Standard Cost

    • Charge Price

    • Charge Percentage

      The Order Units, Conversion to Issue Units, Issue Units, Account, ABC Code, Count Cycle, or Cost Rule fields default to the value saved for the part.

  6. To change the value in the Order Units, Issue Units, Account, ABC Code, Count Cycle, or Cost Rule field, choose one of the following options:

    • Enter the appropriate value in the field.

    • If you need to look up the appropriate value:

      1. Tap the label of the field.

        The Lookup page opens.

      2. Select the appropriate value.

  7. Tap Save.

ClosedEdit a Stock Room

  1. Open the part whose stock room record you want to edit.

  2. Tap the Stock Rooms option in the menu.

    The Stock Rooms List opens.

  3. Select the stock room record from the Stock Rooms List.

    The Edit Stock Room page opens.

  4. Make your changes.

  5. Tap Save.

ClosedRemove a Stock Room

Important!

Removing a Stock Room from a part results in all Stock Room inventory for this part being deleted.

  1. Open the part whose stock room record you want to remove.

  2. Tap the Stock Rooms option in the menu.

    The Stock Rooms List opens.

  3. Select the stock room record from the Stock Rooms List.

    The Edit Stock Room page opens.

  4. Tap Action in the section header.

    The Action menu opens.

  5. Select Remove Stock Room.

    A dialog box opens, asking you to confirm your choice.

  6. Tap the Yes button.

    The stock room record is removed.
