The Data Dictionary helps you to understand the function of a Lucernex field. There are two pieces pf information for each field:
The Is Functional flag, which tells you whether the field has an impact upon data somewhere else in the system.
Every global field has a read-only value for this field.
For custom fields, your System Administrator can set this value to True or False.
For example, if your System Administrator created a math field which is used to impact your budget columns, they could set the Is Functional flag for the field to True.
The Definition, which describes the purpose of the field.
For every global field, there will be a default definition. This definition can be replaced with a firm-specific definition, defined by your System Administrator.
For every custom field, your System Administrator can enter a definition.
