Accruent Lucernex 24.08 Release Notes

We're delivering this automatic upgrade to UAT (TRAIN) environments on August 9, 2024 and to production environments on August 23, 2024, with these highlights:

  • FIFO Invoice Approval: Apply a payment process that requires invoices to be processed in the order that they are received.

  • Workflow migration: Migrate workflow data from a legacy system to Lucernex, supporting the continuity of your business when you choose Lucernex.

  • Report Filter Service: We’re using a newer more secure version of Apache POI available for advanced report filters. A major technology upgrade that enhances product security and scalability.

FIFO invoice approval

LUC-12612

In Cost Tracking, the system did not impose a restriction on the order in which an invoice can be approved. For example, an Invoice submitted on Wednesday could be approved before an invoice submitted on Monday.

You can now apply a payment process that requires invoices to be processed in the order that they are received, First In First Out (FIFO) invoice approval. When this is enabled in a workflow, the approver of an invoice is prevented from approving if an unapproved invoice exists that has an earlier Creation Date.

If you are a Lucernex Administrator who configures Work Flows in your organization, you can select the Apply FIFO Pay App Validation check box in your pay app work flow approval steps.

Workflow migration

LUC-12647

Your Accruent representative can now migrate workflow data such as steps, assignees, and status from a legacy system into Lucernex. This maintains the structure and integrity of your workflows when you move to Lucernex and supports continuity of your business without needing to send notifications or undertake special actions during the migration.

Report filter service

LUC-12216

We have upgraded Apache POI to a newer, more secure version. This major technology upgrade enhances product security and scalability.

On the Advanced Filter dialog, for each of your reports you can now select the POI Version to use when testing advanced Java report filters in your TRAIN/UAT environment .

We encourage you to work with your Accruent representative to check for errors and report issues you find in your TRAIN/UAT environment in a timely way. This allows us to investigate issues ahead of the production release, providing you with a stable and robust product.
