Accruent Lucernex 23.08 Release Notes

We're delivering this automatic upgrade on August 25, 2023, with these highlights:

  • Company reports with Organization fields: Create more sophisticated Company reports by using fields from the Organization table such as AccountNumber1-8, Group, Types, and Categories

  • Improvements and bug fixes: 20 improvements and issues fixed in these areas:

    • Reports

Company reports with Organization fields

In the create modify report page you can now create a Company report with fields from the Organization table such as:

  • AccountNumber1-8: Accounting reference number. Each Organization in Lucernex can have a maximum of eight accounting reference numbers.

  • Group: First level of organization in Lucernex. Groups are the parents of types, and grandparents of Categories. Groups, Types, and Categories are used to simplify reporting.

  • Types: Second level of organization in Lucernex. Types are the children of groups, and parents of Categories. Groups, types, and categories are used to simplify reporting.

  • Categories: Third level of organization in Lucernex. Categories are the children of Types, and grandchildren of Groups. Groups, Types, and categories are used to simplify reporting.

  1. On the Reports page, select the Create/Modify Report tab.

  2. Select the A new report option.

  3. Click Next.

  4. In the Create a new report window, select the Company Report option.

  5. In the Company Report drop-down list, select Organization.

  6. Complete report creation as described in Create a report.

Edit Report field When you enter HTML in the Field Name On Report in the Edit item window to format the color of the field label and click Update with the Accept HTML check box selected, color of the field label in Criteria / Conditions remains black. Previously, the field label in Criteria / Conditions changed color.

Edit Report field When you add invalid HTML to the Field Name On Report field in the Edit item window and click Update with the Accept HTML check box selected, the value in the field is no longer cleared. Export Recoveries page list to Excel

When you export the Recoveries page list to Excel, the Excel spreadsheet now includes the fields:

  • Variance %

  • Approved Amount

  • Approved Net Amount

  • Revised Amount Due

Budget Items

If you are an Administrator, you can now delete budget items on a bid for a project or a capital project even if bid alternates are applied to the bid. When you do so, the system displays a confirmation window that provides the option to continue with the action or cancel it.

The View Straight-Line Schedule window now populates all columns regardless of whether the Cash Rent column is displayed. Previously, when the Cash Rent column was displayed, data was not populated in these columns:

  • Rent Expense

  • Deferred Rent

  • Cumulative Balance

  • Short Term Rent Expense

  • Long Term Rent Expense

  • Begin Date

  • End Date

  • Posted Date

  • Status

The Dispute Savings report now calculates Total Savings correctly using the formula:

Actual Savings + Impound Savings + Term Savings + Savings Lost.

Null values are now calculated as zero $0.00.

Field Label Accept HTML check box

When you include valid HTML in a field label, select the Accept HTML check box and then click Update, the field label includes the result of the HTML. For example, if the label includes <font color=red>C PSK Total</font>, C PSK Total is shown in red. If the field label contains invalid HTML and the Accept HTML check box is selected, an error message instructing you to enter valid HTML is now displayed when you click Update.

Create / Modify Report page

When you edit a field and click Update in the Edit Item window, a message now pops up to remind you that although the report has been successfully updated on screen, those changes are not yet saved to the report.
