System Maintenance and Refresh Schedule
This section covers questions about Lucernex system maintenance and the Train refresh schedule.
What is the Train refresh schedule?
Lucernex backs up your Production environment every night. On the first Friday of every month, Lucernex takes the most recent backup—from Thursday—and pushes it to your Train environment. See below for exact start times:

Monthly Train push: 6:00 PM CT

This is not applicable to dedicated Train environments.
When is Lucernex's maintenance window?
-
Emergency Patches: 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM CT as needed
-
Weekend maintenance scheduled as needed
During the maintenance window, there is a possibility that Lucernex may go down. This typically only happens the Friday of a release.
This is not applicable to dedicated Train environments.
What happens during a scheduled UAT / Train refresh?
-
The refresh overwrites scheduled jobs to match production. Jobs are deactivated automatically, but SFTP addresses and configurations are updated. To keep your UAT/Train jobs in place:
-
Create the jobs in production, but leave them inactive. This ensures your UAT/Train integration configuration stays in place during the refresh.
-
Edit the job name or output files to include "Train" or "UAT" to clearly indicate the source environment. (Optional)
-
-
Advanced reports that use Java code to send email continue to send from UAT/Train environments. To prevent this, edit the report in the UAT/Train environment, go to Advanced Filter, and set boolean sendEmails to false (boolean sendEmails = false;).
-
Advanced reports with Try/Catch code that your organization hasn't reviewed with Accruent recently, might not work as expected.
-
The refresh might overwrite your SSO configuration in UAT/Train. To avoid this, keep a second SSO configuration for UAT/Train. Contact Accruent Support for help.
-
Notifications configured in UAT/Train may continue to send. To prevent workflow notifications, go to Admin > Manage Company and verify that Email Filter has no entries in your UAT/Train environment. To allow notifications for a specific group (for example, internal users), leave their email addresses or domain in that field.
-
If a refresh coincides with active testing, export your page layouts and other configuration before the refresh and re-import them afterward. Contact your system administrator to determine what to export.
