Advanced Filter

Your organization can develop Java report filters to transform report data. Java code can also produce a file to update the sent records in Lucernex, such as toggling the Processed flag, or adding Lucernex generated invoice numbers.

Only Accruent personnel can add or update Java report filters on reports in Production. This policy is in place to protect the integrity of the system. You can create and test your report filters in your UAT (Train) environment. Once you have completed and validated a report filter, contact your Accruent representative for final review and publication to Production.

  1. In the report you are editing click Report Settings > Advanced Filter.

  2. Click Filter.

  3. Select the Filtered Output Type.

  4. If displayed, select the Apache POI Version to use for your filter.

This field displays if the enableLxReportFilterService feature switch is turned on for your firm. Contact your Accruent representative for more information.

  5. Enter Report Timeout in seconds.

  6. Enter the Java Filter Source.

  7. Click Update.

    The window closes.

  8. To save your changes, click Save in the header of the Report Builder, to the right of the report name.
