Project, prototype, and site widgets
You can use the widgets in this section to view and manipulate data in the Project, Prototype, and Site modules.
Chart Milestone
In the Chart Milestone widget, you can create a bar chart of your active sites / projects by milestone phase.Add the Chart Milestone widget to your Dashboard.
A Setup Wizard window opens.
Complete the fields:
Chart Title: Enter a title for the chart.
Start Date: Enter the start date you want to use for the chart.
You can also click Calendar
to open the Date Picker and select the appropriate date.
End Date: Enter the end date you want to use for the chart in the field.
You can also click Calendar
to open the Date Picker and select the appropriate date.
Portfolio Filter: Select the portfolio you want this widget to pull data from.
All Portfolios / Capital Programs is selected by default. You can select multiple options.
Entity Filter
Sites: Limit the results in this widget to sites.
Projects: Limit the results in this widget to projects.
Click Submit.
The Setup Wizard closes. The chart opens in the Chart Milestone widget. When you hover over a bar in the widget, a label displays the data represented in the bar.
Click Configure if you want to adjust chart settings.
The Setup Wizard re-opens.
Milestones: Sites and Project Count
The Milestones: Sites and Project Count widget displays the number of entities that have a milestone in each milestone phase. By default, the widget looks at a 12 month date range, and today's date is the end date. These columns are displayed:
Entity Type
Milestone Phase
Count: The values in the Count column are hyperlinked. When you click one of the hyperlinked values in the Count column, a window opens that lists all entities that have a milestone in the selected milestone phase. If you click the name of an entity, the system will redirect you to that entity.
Apply a Date Range Filter to the Milestones: Sites and Project Count Widget
Find the Milestones: Sites and Project Count widget.
Click Configure.
The Date Range Filter window opens.
Edit the fields:
Grid Title: If you want to rename the widget, enter your preferred widget name.
Start Date End Date: Enter the start and end date for your filter.
You can also click Calendar
to open the Date Picker and select the appropriate date.
Portfolio Filter: Select the portfolio you want this widget to search.
All Portfolios / Capital Programs is selected by default. You can select multiple options.
Entity Filter
Sites: Limit the results in this widget to sites.
Projects: Limit the results in this widget to projects.
Click Submit.
The results matching your search criteria appear in the widget.
My Bid Packages
If you are a Bid Manager, you can use this widget to get a snapshot view of the bid packages where you:
Are assigned a question
Created a question
Are an assignee of the bid package
Bidders can only see their own data in this widget.
These columns are shown:
Name: Project name hyperlink to the project
Bid Package Name: Hyperlink to the bid package
Bid Open Date
Bid Close Date
Bid Package Status
Number of Active Bidders
Total Number of Bidders
Budget Amount: Total of Estimate column if configured on the bid package template for the corresponding line items in the budget view.
Submitted Bid Amount
Before the close date this shows the most recently submitted total bid amount, regardless of bidder. The amount is not displayed if sealed bidding is enabled.
After the close date this shows the total amount of the bidder in the 1st ranked position.
Conditioned Bid Amount
Pre-award: shows the top ranked bidder
Post-award: shows awarded amounts
You can filter each column in the widget to help you find a bid package.
My Bids
This provides bidders with a snapshot view of the bid packages where:
The user is invited as Bidder on the bid package
If the user is removed from the bid package, the bid package no longer displays in the widget
If the user is a losing bidder, the bid package no longer displays in the widget
The user is the creator of a question
The user is assigned to a question
The user is assigned as a Bid Package Assignee
These columns are shown:
Project Name: Project name hyperlink to the project
Bid Package Name: Hyperlink to the bid package
Bid Open Date
Bid Close Date
Bid Package Status
Submitted Bid Amount: Total of the most recently submitted bid OR the submitted amount that is in selected status
Conditioned Bid Amount
You can filter each column in the widget to help you find a bid package.
Opening Projects
The Opening Projects widget shows a list of projects that will be opening soon. The widget displays:
Project: Hyperlink to the project
Days: Number of days prior to delivery date. The project delivery date is calculated using multiple fields, and is based on the task associated with the last milestone before the Operations phase in your Milestone Timeline. "Before the Operations phase" means any other milestone timeline phase such as Real Estate, Site Development, Design, Construction, or Possession
Project Manager.
Project Updating
The Project Updating widget shows a list of projects that have not been updated recently. The widget displays:
Project: Hyperlink to the project
Days: Number of days since the last update
Project Manager
Prototypes
The Prototypes widget displays a hyperlinked list of your prototypes.
Revenue Weeks
The Revenue Weeks widget displays the goal revenue weeks defined in the RE Planner and any projects that are behind schedule. A project that is behind schedule has a red Actual/Forecast Delivery Date on the global Project > Details > Summary page. The widget shows the number of revenue weeks lost in the current fiscal year due to delay.Data is only displayed in this widget if you are listed as a manager on the project.
Sites
The Sites widget breaks down your sites by market and gives you quick access to the Site Setup Wizard.
Add a Site using the Sites widget
Find the Sites widget on your Dashboard.
Click Add Site link in the upper-right corner of the widget.
The Site Setup Wizard opens.
Create the site using the Site Setup Wizard.
View Sites by Market List
Find the Sites widget on your Dashboard.
Click the name of the market in the Market column.
The My Sites page opens. All sites that belong to your selected market appear on the page.
