Ad Hoc Budget Templates

To use this feature the enableAdhocBudgetLineItems feature switch must be turned on for your firm. Contact your Accruent representative for more information.

As a System Administrator, you can:

  • Create, edit, and delete ad hoc budget templates on the Ad Hoc Budget Templates page.

  • Add and edit line items on the Ad Hoc Template Details sub-page in the same way as budget template details.

Create Ad Hoc Budget Template

  1. In the Company Administration pane of the System Administrator Dashboard, click Manage Ad Hoc Budget Templates under Cost Management.

  2. Click Add Ad Hoc Budget Template.

  3. Enter a Name, Description, and Notes for the template.

  4. If required, select an existing template to duplicate from one of the following:

    • Duplicate Ad Hoc Budget Template

    • Duplicate Budget Template from another Budget Template

  5. Select the check boxes of the entity types that the template is to be available for.

  6. Select the Portfolios/Capital programs that the template is to be available for.

  7. Click Add.

  8. In the Actions column of the template you created, click Layout.

  9. Add or Edit Root Groups and Root Items.

Edit Ad Hoc Budget Template

  1. In the template you want to edit, click Edit in the Actions column.

    The Edit Ad Hoc Budget Template window opens.

  2. Make your changes.

  3. Click Update.

    The window closes.Your changes are saved.

Delete Ad Hoc Budget Template

  1. In the template you want to delete, click Delete link in the Actions column.

    A dialog opens, asking you to confirm your choice.

  2. Click Yes.

    The dialog box closes, and the page refreshes. The template is deleted.
