Replace / Switch Members Tab - Manage Membership
The Replace / Switch Members tab allows system administrator to make bulk membership replacements on entities.
To navigate to the Replace / Switch Members tab:

Click Admin in the toolbar in the upper-right corner of the window.
The System Administrator Dashboard page opens.

Click Manage Membership link in the Member Administration column.
The Manage Membership page opens.

Select the Replace / Switch Members tab.
The Replace / Switch Members page opens.

Follow a procedure below.
Completely Replace Member on All Entities
To completely replace the member on all entities:

Select the member who is being replaced from the Select Member who is being replaced field.

If you would like to remove the member who is being replaced from the selected entities, select the Remove this member from selected entities after replacing? check box.

Select the member who will be replacing the member in step 2 from the Select Member who will inherit responsibilities field.

If you would like to promote this member to manager on entities where the previous member was a manager, select the Promote inheriting member to manager on entities replaced member was a manager for? check box.

If you want the member to inherit the job titles that the previous member had, select the Assign inheriting member to receive the replaced member's job title(s)? check box.

Select the Completely replace this Member on ALL entities?option.

Select the option you want:
-
Completely replace this member on all Org Charts (Operating and Pre-open)?: Replace the member on all org charts.

Completely remove this member from all Org Charts (Operating and Pre-open)?: Remove the member from all org charts.

To deactivate the member you are replacing after making the replacement, select Deactivate this member after replacing?.

Click Next.
The Completely replacing [User A] with [User B] in ALL entities page opens. A table containing all entities where the user was a member appears on the page.

Click Process Planned Membership at the bottom of the page.
The system opens a processing page.

Wait until the entity membership job completes processing.

To change the membership of another user, click Another Member.
The system returns you to the Replace / Switch Members page.
Replace Member on Selected Entities
To review the changes you've made, select the Only show entities that will have a change in membership check box at the top of the page. Lucernex will display all entities with pending changes.
To replace a member on selected entities:

Select the member who is being replaced from the Select Member who is being replaced field.

If you would like to remove the member who is being replaced from the selected entities, select the Remove this member from selected entities after replacing? check box.

Select the member who will be replacing the member in step 2 from the Select Member who will inherit responsibilities field.

If you would like to promote this member to manager on entities where the previous member was a manager, select the Promote inheriting member to manager on entities replaced member was a manager for? check box.

If you want the member to inherit the job titles that the previous member had, select the Assign inheriting member to receive the replaced member's job title(s)? check box.

Select the Replace on selected entities? option.

Click Next.
The Replacing [User A] with [User B] in selected entities page opens. A table containing all entities where the user was a member appears on the page.

Follow the appropriate procedures below:
Filter the Replacing [User A] with [User B] in selected entities page
To filter the Replacing [User A] with [User B] in selected entities page:

Click Set Filters in the upper-left corner of the table.
The Contact Info window opens.

Select the check boxes next to the entities you want to have displayed in the table.

Click Apply Filters.
The page refreshes. The entities which match your filter criteria appear in the table.

To search for a specific entity:

Select the column whose data you want to use as search criteria from the Column Filter field.

Enter your search criteria in the Search in the header bar of the table.

Click Search.
This appears to the right of the Search field.
The results which match your search criteria display in the table.

Replace a User as a Member or Manager on an Individual Basis
To replace a user as a member or manager on a entity-by-entity basis:

Find the entity for which you want to replace the member.

Click Replace link in the Planned Membership column to replace the user as a member or manager.

Repeat step b for all entities for which you want to replace the user.

Click Process Planned Membership at the bottom of the page.
The system opens a processing page.

Wait until the entity membership job completes processing.

To change the membership of another user, click Another Member.
The system returns you to the Replace / Switch Members page.
Replace in Bulk
To replace a user as a member or manager in bulk:

Click Planned Membership column header.
The Planned Membership opens.

Choose one of the following options:

Replace
-
Clear All
-
-
Do one of the following:
-
All Grid Rows: Apply the change to all results in the table.

Displayed Grid Rows: Only apply the change to the results displayed in the current page of results.

Click Process Planned Membership at the bottom of the page.
The system opens a processing page.

Wait until the entity membership job completes processing.

To change the membership of another user, click Another Member.
The system returns you to the Replace / Switch Members page.
