Configure Generate Rent List

System Administrators have the ability to create custom list layouts that can be used in the Generate Rent windows of the Contract and Equipment Contract modules.

To create a list layout for the Approve Payments window:

  1. Click Admin in the toolbar in the upper-right corner of the window.

    The System Administrator Dashboard page opens.

  2. Click Manage Page Layouts link in the Company Administration column.

    The Manage Summary Pages page opens.

  3. Select the Manage List Layouts tab.

    The Manage List Layouts page opens.

  4. Click Add Item in the lower-right corner of the List Layouts table.

    The Add Item window opens.

  5. Enter the name of the page layout in the Page Layout Name field.

  6. Enter a description of the page layout in the Description field.

    We recommend that you add descriptions to every template, layout, or field you create in Lucernex, so that subsequent administrators will understand the purpose and context of the items you create.

  7. If you want to base your layout on the default layout used for the Generate Rent window, select Generate Rent Contract List [Global Layout] from the Initialize layout from existing layout field.

  8. Select Contract from the Primary Table field.

  9. Select the Yes option for the Allow Edit setting.

  10. If you want the list layout to have even column widths, select the Even Column Widths? check box.

  11. Select the portfolio you want this list layout to be available for from the Available for the following Portfolios / Capital Programs field.

    All Portfolios / Capital Programs is selected by default. You can select multiple options.

  12. Click Add.

    The window closes. The list layout appears in the Manage List Layouts table.

  13. Follow the Build a List Layout procedures on the Manage List Layouts Tab page.

  14. If you would like to create additional list layouts, repeat steps 4 - 13.

    You can create separate layouts for Contracts and Equipment Contracts.

  15. Once you have completed your list layouts, navigate to the Admin > Manage Company > Financial Settings page.

  16. Select your list layout from one or more of the following fields:

    • RE Contract Generate Rent Layout

    • Equipment Contract Generate Rent Layout

  17. Click Update in the bottom-center of the page.

    The page refreshes. Your changes are saved. Your new list layouts are now visible in the Generate Rent window of the selected modules.
