Build a My Layout report layout in the Preview Pane

A My Layout report allows you to build a report layout using the Page Layout Editor interface. You can build this type of report from within the Preview pane of the Report Builder.

To build a My Layout report layout in the Preview pane:

1. Click Reports in the toolbar in the upper-right corner of the window.

   

   The Reports page opens.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Create a report

   • Edit an existing report.

3. Click Report Settings in the header of the Report Builder.

   The Report Settings menu opens.

4. Select Display Settings from the Report Settings menu.

   A window opens.

5. Select the My Layout from the View Type field.

6. Click Finish.

   The window closes.

7. Do one of the following:

   • To search for a field:

     1. Type the name of the field you want to add in the Search field in the Available Fields section of the Fields pane on the left side of the Report Builder.

     2. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.

        Fields matching your search criteria appear.

   • Expand the folders in Available Fields section of the Fields pane on the left side of the Report Builder.

8. Once you have found the field you want, drag and drop it on a Plus icon in the Preview pane.

   The field is added to the cell. More Plus icons appear.

9. Repeat steps 7 - 8 as necessary.

11. To save your changes, click Save in the header of the Report Builder, to the right of the report name.
