Chat on the Web

Start a chat

  1. Sign in to Accruent Field from the web.

  2. In the application header, select the Chat icon in the top right.

    The Chat screen displays your open chat threads.

  3. To start a new chat, select Create in the top right.

  4. Select the contacts to include in the chat and select Create.

    The channel is created. You can now send text or upload images, videos, and files in the conversation.

Edit channel information

You can edit the channel name and icon image.

  1. In the chat overlay, select the Info icon in the top right to open the Channel information pane.
  2. Select Edit to open the Edit channel information dialog.
  3. In Channel name, enter a new name and select Save.
  4. To upload a channel icon image, select Upload next to the Channel image icon.
  5. Select an image and select Open.
  6. Select Save to close the Edit channel information dialog.

The app updates the channel information.
