ClosedRequirements

To ensure your users benefit from the newest features, enhancements, and fixes, we recommend that you upgrade to the most current release of your EMS product.

.NET Framework 4.8 is required on the application server.

Microsoft SQL Server 2016 is no longer supported by EMS due to Microsoft's end of support for SQL Server 2016 in July 2026.

You only need the latest downloads for any component since they are cumulative.

If you want to get a Direct Spaces license, contact your Accruent account executive.

PowerShell-Based Deployment

On Premise database deployments now use an automated, PowerShell-based deployment package instead of manually executing SQL scripts.

This is a major change to the deployment process. We recommend deploying to a test environment first.

If you're currently using a version between 220.2 and 224.3, manually deploy SQL patches first, then follow the PowerShell deployment process.

Ellucian Banner Integration

Academic and Department Schedulers can sync course data from Ellucian Banner to EMS to assign classes to suitable spaces, optimize schedules, and coordinate events around existing course schedules. The integration helps streamline room assignment management while supporting departmental and instructor scheduling requirements.
