Release Notes 222.1.0

To determine what to download, check your current installs for all your licensed products and make note of the date and release number on the About screen in your EMS software. Download and install the latest updates from the table below. Any download links for which you are licensed will be available to you once you are logged into Accruent Access.

To ensure your users are benefiting from the newest features, enhancements, and fixes, we recommend that you upgrade to the most current release of your EMS product.

You now need the .NET Framework 4.8 on the application server.

You only need the latest downloads for any component since they are cumulative.

The Downloads area of Accruent Access offers an alternative view of your licensed releases, organized by product. To view the Downloads area, log into Accruent Access and navigate to My Products > EMS Downloads (opens a new tab) > (Release) Releases & Patches.

Room sign profile error

In Room Sign Configurations > Profile, the profile description displayed the SQL database ID and user receives an error message. Now, the actual profile description displays and no error messages appear when a user opens or edits the profile.

Query builder duplicated display field

EMS-14176

The Query Builder now has one field for the Building Code. When you update to 221, automated reports with filtered building code work as expected.

Remove case sensitivity

We removed the case sensitivity in Platform. Rooms configured in Desktop Client do not need to match the case of mailboxes in Exchange.

Show Job Name in Log UI

EMS-16219

We updated the Platform Admin UI Logs to show the Job Name instead of the Job ID. The Job ID field is now relabeled to Job Name and is a searchable field.

When a process template is set to Override Default Setup/Teardown, it overrides correctly and does not result in conflicts.

404 Not Found Error

  • In Edit a Reservation, you can use the keyboard to access all elements. The screen reader focuses on and announces all elements. Includes: Reservation Details, Manage Attendees, Cancel Services, View Service Availability, Send Invitation, Edit Booking, Edit Booking Attendees and Room Results, Notify Attendees window, error messages, Booking Tools, View Reservation Summary, Cancel Booking window, Availability Legend, Manage Attendees.

  • Video Conferencing – In Edit a Reservation, you can interact with Video Conferencing via the keyboard and the screen reader focuses on and announces the links.

  • In Edit a Reservation > My Events > Current/Past, you can use the keyboard and the screen reader announces the expanded items. There’s also a visual indicator to show which one is selected.

  • Zoom page past 200% – You can zoom the Edit a Reservation pages (except for Manage Attendees and Booking Tools) past 200% without losing functionality.

  • Move Cancel button – We moved the Cancel Service button from the top of page to the bottom. The bottom bar floats to make it more accessible regardless of the number of services categories shown in the list.

Everyday User bookings created conflict

EMS-16339

In certain situations, rooms that appear available in Web App's Schedule view resulted in a conflict status when submitting the reservation, even though no events exist for the room. When rooms are available to book, the submitted reservation now gets created as expected.

Future booking in closed today room

EMS-12386

Users can now book a room in the future when the building is open, even if the building is closed on the day the booking is created.

Private events showing to all in error

EMS-14162

When you create private events, they now show as private in Browse Location and Browse Events.

Room search schedule view error

EMS-15878

When a Default Setup Type is used in a Process Template, and you click Schedule view, no error message appears.

List type UDF cannot be edited

EMS-16224

When you edit reservation details in EMS Web App, UDFs display as they displayed when you first submitted the reservation.

Booking errors past midnight

EMS-16368

You can now book a meeting with a time that goes past 12 AM midnight on a building with configured building hours.

Zoom integration adds Zoom and Teams

EMS-16418

When you select the Zoom integration, users receive the Zoom invite only in the calendar invitation and not Zoom and Teams.

Past events browsing

EMS-16723

When Hide Past Events From View is set to Yes, events from the past no longer appear in Browse Events. .
